Single Board Thin Film Thickness/Rate Deposition Monitor

The STM-1 is a compact, single-board monitor for use where space is at a premium, or it is desirable to integrate the monitor into an OEM system. The STM-1 can be controlled using the LabVIEW software and a standard PC, or can support a custom OEM display via the internal expansion bus.

• Do I need the STM-1 with the on-board oscillator or the remote oscillator?
The on-board oscillator can be used when the sensing head can be located within 30" of the STM-1. The remote oscillator is needed for cable lengths greater than 30".
• Can I run more than one STM-1 with the same computer?
Yes (the technical limit is 254.) See the STM-1 Downloads section of this website for the application notes on how to do this.
