Liquid Nitrogen Level Monitor/Controller

The Sycon Liquid Level Monitor/Controller is a capacitive level measurement and control instrument for use with non-flammable liquids such as liquid Nitrogen. The SLL-N2 typically mounts directly to the sensor, and is powered by a wall power adaptor. Communication with the controller is possible via RS-232.

• Can I use the SLL-N2 to monitor a liquid other than Nitrogen?
Yes, as long as the dielectric constant of the liquid is different than the dielectric constant of the vapor. Also, the SLL-N2 is may not be used for flammable liquids or in flammable atmospheres.
• I need a custom-length sensor probe. Is this available?
Yes. Capacitive probes can be made in various lengths, up to a maximum 72" active length (for liquid Nitrogen.) You must specify the active length you need, and the inactive length required (contact Sycon to discuss your specific needs.)
• I need to switch 110VAC - is this possible?
An optional power supply/relay board provides the capability to power the SLL-N2 directly from the optional board, and adds 110V relay switching.
• Is it possible to mount the SLL-N2 remote from the capacitive sensor?
Yes. The unit may be mounted remotely and connected via a coaxial cable. Calibration must be done with the cable in place.
